Serving Orphans and Widows
We minister to orphan children and fellow volunteer servants of God, but we also work with women and widows who are living in poverty in slum areas in two states [of India]. Some of these women are elderly widows who live alone, with no income. They lack basic necessities for survival. To support them, we provide food, clothing, and other essential items. There are more than 200 people in need that we help. We also show the love of God and spread the message of the good news. Many people are coming to know Jesus and become more self supporting. Some older woman have started helping with the poor children, and orking to support the mission. This is our vision, and we pray that God will meet all their needs. Homeless abused women, orphans, widows and old age women every month need $3,000.
ZOE wants to build an energy independent building and greenhouse so they can produce much of the food to feed these 200 poor people and to get more of the homeless into shelter.
